What Does Rekkles"High Kada" Stand For For G2?

Why G2 Might be struggling with Rekkles

Rekkles's career as an elite player is extensive. Rekkles has been playing since the competitive League of Legends was born. He's also been a top bot runner for over ten years. Rekkles his five-year stint on Fnatic made him one of the best and powerful players in the game. Furthermore, Rekkles seemed to be a perfect fit to G2 Esports despite some early worries that he would not mesh with the roster. He has the top KDA of any player in the major regions with an astonishingly high 10.03 ratio. It is important to know Why G2 Might be struggling with Rekkles in order to be a successful player.

But, not everything is good with G2. Their playoffs have been rocky, G2 recently lost a set 1-3 to MAD Lions. Playoffs have decreased Rekkles' overall KDA, too. Rekkles had the most KDA of any professional athlete worldwide, regardless of major region.

This begs the question: "Why G2 Might be struggling with Rekkles"? After such a clean and impressive split, G2's struggle through the playoffs bracket isn't going without being noticed. Is it possible that Rekkles have something G2 is missing despite his outstanding performance during the Split? We must first look at the reasons Rekkles is so great.

Both methodical and calculated

Rekkles is one of the players with clearly defined style. He prefers players who stick to the backline, except for Kai'Sa. In the event that he does the player plays Kai'Sa by using her tools in a way that keeps him alive during hectic teamfights. Rekkles did not pick the champions, despite Tristana's meta relevance and Samira’s brief stint as a top choice.

Long range is Rekkles's game, and this style of play can make him an anchor for any team he's rostered on. He's not going to be kicking on the other team's front, but he'll still produce consistently DPS. This is the reason Rekkles hasn't had a single playoff game or Spring Split where he had more than 3 deaths despite G2's losses.

Rekkles is quick to DPS Leona or Viktor in this clip. He knows that Carzzy's Xayah is the target and he doesn't hesitate to reposition and ensure the kill.

Rekkles was a part of his team, and G2 continued to concentrate on each MAD Lions member one at one at a time. Although Rekkles was taken down in the end, G2 gained a massive advantage from this dive. This clip was from the only match G2 won in their semifinals and Rekkles was at his best during Game 3.

Who's the back-up here?

Rekkles His style is to help his team in every way the team needs it. In most cases it's through DPS. Rekkles was able to adjust to the new meta while still maintaining his playstyle. He picked to use control mages at a time where conventional ADCs were often worse than magical carriers.

However, this season isn't as straightforward. Alternatives are simply alternatives. Weird products of the meta such as Seraphine and Fasting Senna (and all the other odd supports Fasting Senna enables) are different alternatives however they are not necessarily better than drafting a regular bot lane. In the majority of cases it is at least. Rekkles should not be allowed to be allowed to lay any access to Seraphine or Senna.

Senna is a pick that Rekkles always seems to be confident about, but one we don't frequently. It's not because Rekkles isn't keen on picking it, or is forced to pick something specific around the pick. In fact, the rate of her picks/bans between Spring Split and the playoffs was 89% in all G2's games.

Rekkles is a slug in the right hands, regardless of the most powerful build. Senna functions well in extreme distances and her teamfighting abilities are extremely strong. A heal with a low cooldown along with her Q and a huge shield on her ultimate blends Rekkles passion for supporting his team and outputting huge DPS. Rekkles seems to feel that the selection was designed to suit him. It's also possible to get unique lane combinations by donating Mikyx farm and G2's support.
